There is a song that ends in these words; “I know there ain’t no heaven and I pray there ain’t no hell!” But the Bible tells us “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.” – Galatians 6:7

It’s a sad truth everyone cries out to God when the ceiling is falling in and the floor is opening at their feet; the fires of hell and smell the smoke billowing up waves of destruction. God is merciful and full of grace (unmerited favor) but He is not gullible. He cannot be deceived. He is love but he is also just and truthful.

“You [God] are of purer eyes than to behold evil, and cannot look on iniquity: [why should you look] upon them that deal treacherously, and hold your tongue when the wicked devours the man that is more righteous than he?” – Habakkuk 1:13

He has such love for mankind He has revealed truth, written it in a book and made it the worlds best seller for at least a century. This book tells us again and again “He that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” – Galatians 6:8 “But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.” – Romans 10:18 God has not held his tongue.

In the more prosperous nations of the world there is at least one Bible in almost every home and some homes there is a copy for each person in the household. Few read it. Of those who do read it, fewer still believe it has any tangible effect on life. Some use it as a talisman of security, some look at it as a good luck charm, but the words on the pages do no good until they bring about a belief in the object behind their existence; God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit. It has been said, “Christ is the golden thread that runs throughout the scriptures from beginning to end.”

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” – John 3:3

Redemption is the story of the Bible. Salvation is it’s message. An escape from the fires of destruction has been provided, but one must take it and hold on to it. God is the author of the Bible and His Son Jesus, who is the Christ and our salvation, is the subject of the Bible from beginning to end. From the words “in the beginning God” to the the end which says, “even so Come Lord Jesus,” the Bible is the only book that relates directly to the facts of life while proclaiming the promise of eternal life. This gift of eternal life is predicated on one learning the truth of life while he is yet alive. “…faith is the substantiation of things having been hoped, the evidence of things not having been seen.” – Hebrews 11:1

“The grave cannot praise you, death can not celebrate you: they that go down into the pit [of hell] cannot hope for your truth” (Isaiah 38:18).

The world is entering bankruptcy morally, physically and economically. Chaos has already begun to reign and the law of the jungle has already prevailed all over the face of the earth1. Economically Greece has fallen, Spain is close behind, Italy and Portugal will follow. Morally Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America and North America are systematically bankrupt. Physically humans are becoming more frail and more fragile creatures as they rely more and more on technology and energy. Slowly like dominoes placed on end in a row if the first one is struck, the world will fall.

Why is this happening? “[Satan] has said in his heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north” (Isaiah 14:13- 18). This is a life and death struggle, but the end was prophesied from the beginning. Satan has already lost the battle, but he will take millions of deceived and self-deluded souls with him before he is finished.

As mankind begins to fail it looks for it’s salvation. The form of this salvation id different to each observer. All share a common bond. He will be a charismatic leader, with soothing words, a righteous demeanor and a comforting spirit. He will convince the majority of the people left standing that he has the answer to eternal life and renewed prosperity. All you will need to survive is put your trust in him and give him compete power over you.

“They worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?” – Revelations 13:4

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

And now ye know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now lets will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved” (II Thessalonians 2: 3-10).

The stage is being set. The one that will deceive the entire world and usher in it’s destruction is having the ground paved before him. And if you think God won’t take an active part in destroying the unrighteous in their willful rebellion against him, think again; “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (II Thessalonians 2: 9-12).
