The Beneficent God
From time to time we all face tragedies. These events can cause us to question the character of God. One of the main arguments against the Faith is called the Beneficent God argument. Although the modern version of this argument is a pale shadow of it’s original, the way it’s interpreted now does bring out some deep seated emotions. Many actually use this premise to harbor hatred against God. In this discussion we talk about the various aspects of the ages old question; “how can a good and loving God allow bad things to happen?”
