See No Good, Hear No Good
A rather infamous atheist was once asked, “Should you die and find yourself facing the God you have denied and forsaken; what will you say?
He answered, “I will say you didn’t explain it to me adequately.”
One of the most popular arguments used by skeptics is the “Hiddenness of God,” wherein they argue that because God doesn’t present himself in more readily visible, visual forms he obviously doesn’t exist. The ironic truth is that Jesus himself covered this topic during his ministry on earth, several times (see Mark 6, Luke 16).
Here listed are several passages of scripture that leave such a person as that without excuse. To ignore, deny and reject the hand of God held out to “all the world” is to pronounce the eternal death sentence and bing the wrath of God upon yourself. This is that “fire from God” (Revelations 11:5) that will destroy the unbeliever.
“Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die?” – Ezekiel 33:11
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” – II Peter 3:9
“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things.” – Romans 8:32
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” – II Corinthians 5:21
“He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob (the Christian), neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel (the Church): the Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a king (Jeshuah Ha’amashia) is among them.” – Numbers 23:21
“Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” – John 3:14-19
“Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.” – John 8:28
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” – John 15:13
“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” – Isaiah 49:15
“When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.” – Psalms 27:10
“The wages of sin is death; but, the gift of God is eternal life” to all who renounce Satan, sin, and the world and further profess by grace through faith that Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords, the only Son (born of God not created). He is the only way, the truth and the life; no man comes to the father but by him.” – John 14:6
“For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have ‘I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation!’ – II Corinthians 6:2
