Sanctified, Saved Under Eternal Life
In the law of God when a thing is written once it is binding. When it is written twice it is certain and shall surely come to pass. All who receive it and who accept the obligations1 contained in the message become the objects of that message’s fulfillment. In other words they are the beneficiaries [“heirs, joint heirs with Christ” (Romans 8:17)] of the Word of God. Those who join in with the Word are sanctified, saved and preserved… eternally2.
“All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him (Matthew 11:27).”
“All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him (Luke 10:22).”
“The Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape (John 5:37).”
“No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another,3 God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us (I John 4:12).”
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love (I John 4:18).”
“Who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ (I Corinthians 2:16).”
“One of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law?4 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets (Matthew 22:35-40).”
“He said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments (Matthew 19:17).” “If ye love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15).”
“Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God (Mark 10:18).”
“Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God (Luke 18:19).”
There those who are willing to confess Jesus Christ was a wise teacher, there are some who confess he was a good and a wise man, there are few who are willing to confess him Lord over their entire life and very God who has redeemed them from death by his sacrifice on the cross. To the latter that seems repugnant. The happy-go-lucky picture of Jesus as a “social reformer” a “agent of change” or a “guru of morality” are simply caricatures of who the Christ really is. He is a conqueror, a king and the meaning of the Law. He is the Word of God and carries with him all authority.
Until it has been confessed that Jesus is very God, only heir to the throne of God on Mt. Zion (Jerusalem) (Psalm 2:6-8); Lord of lords and King of kings (I Timothy 6:15), savior of the world (John 3:16,17) one does not posses salvation. There is, and can be only one God. There is only one God who has fit within reality.
This is not merely a personal observation it is simply truth. Believe it and live!
- “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:1,2).”
- THE LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. THE LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. – Psalm 121:7,8
- “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another (John 13:34).”
“Whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him (I John 2:5).”
“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another (John 13:35).” - All Jewish law ceremonial (Temple worship), civil and penal is derived from the Ten Commandments by Moses received from God on tables of stone written by the finger of God on Mt. Sinai. There was no “separation of church and state” in Israel. Let it be known to all who read this that in the New Heaven and the New Earth with the New Jerusalem as its capitol that will be the law for all who spend eternity with God. Those who will not surrender to it now in this life will not see eternal life in the world to come.
