Little known facts about lesser known things
Four generations of Monarch butterflies live and die on their eight month migration from Canada to Mexico. Scientists know this to be true but are totally incapable of explaining how they find their way back to Canada.
Perhaps the ones that died on the southern journey left signs for their progeny to follow. Maybe they have a sense of smell or taste that science doesn’t know about that aids them.
The Archer fish rises to the top of a pool and squirts darts of water at insects for food. Scientists are at a loss to know from evolution how they survived until they learned how to squirt those water darts. How did they survive until they learned?
The arctic tern migrates annually from the north pole region to the southern polar region with out stopping to eat or without a compass. That is an enigma to science. They can not explain what the birds would do if they missed a mile post. Some say the birds have a built-in detector of the earth’s magnetic field.
These are only three of hundreds of thousands of small but significant scientific facts that evolutionist scientists do not know or can’t answer. Is it possible that there is one simple answer that science and scientists ignore, deny or even reject? What would happen if someone tried looking for these answers in the “one book” they usually ignore, deny and reject?
Most rational beings when asked, “do you know everything?” will say they don’t. If you ask a scientist they will tell you that not everything is known. If you ask an atheist he will tell you everything will be known. Perhaps some of the things they don’t know about God are true and are yet to be discovered.
(Genesis 1: 1) “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” The creation story continues in the first two books of the Bible to explain that all foul, birds, sea creatures, earth bound creatures and humankind were created and have existed from the beginning of their creation. These “kinds” of creatures generally remain the same.
It is peculiar that science itself has proved that different genus do not naturally mix. When or if they do, the result is always bad. Each kind of creature breeds with its own. As a matter of fact new species of creatures have continued to arrive on earth as both nature and humanity intervene. Yet, no creature has ever been found that has crossed over the genus line.
Somehow we’ve decided that humans, through the ages, have managed to ascend to the point that they can have complete dominion over this earth. In fact, we have decided that the fate of the entire world, if not the solar system, is within our hands. Never mind that nature defies every creation of man. Never mind that the forces of this earth make fools of even the greatest of minds. Somehow we’ve decided that we can save it all.
I wonder; how is it mankind now is “worried” that his specie is destroying the ozone layer, myriad species of creatures, and the atmosphere. These forces existed long before science was invented. Who was around to save them before us? Or, is it that we have enough power to destroy the whole world, therefore it becomes our responsibility to save the world?
If Mankind hasn’t knowledge or power to create an “earth;” how is it that he has the wisdom and power to destroy it? If mankind hasn’t the power to create an earth, how does it think it will save it? There is no limit to man’s pride. It is so enormous that he believes one day he may evolve into godhood and eventually godhead!
When enough dust and smoke is stirred up it blinds the eyes to what is going on. If we concentrate on something that is so large we can’t possible see the end of the problem, and we begin to forget the issues right in front of us, have we fallen prey to a slight of hand? If we are all gods, then what time do we have to do the dishes? Take out the trash? Mind our own money?
Give us a few more billion, a few more trillion dollars and a little more time. The endless, mindless search for the unsolvable will find enough gullible followers. The task will never be completed, because it can’t possibly be complete.
I wonder, will no one stand and declare that the emperor has no clothes? Science is naked. Humanity is empty. We are all wretched and poor and blind. The problem is, we are all seeking tomorrow, while today passes us by. The study of science – once upon a time – was the study of God’s handiwork, a way to toil until he comes. It has turned from a means into an end. An end to us all.
God said, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none (Ezekiel 22:30).”
