Misunderstandings about the Holy Trinity are the cause of many of the world’s cults, and many a Christian heresy. Describing One God, in three persons is never easy. Our finite existence limits our capacity to comprehend, but, there are analogies that hold meaning, and can help describe that most important, and pertinent of doctrines of the Faith. It all lies in the word “person.” But, what does the doctrine of the Trinity mean to us in our every-day lives? What meaning does it hold in our relationship with God? This week we take a long, hard look at the Trinity.

<itunes:summary>It’s called a doctrine, but is it really part of Christianity? In the book of Job we learn that God gives Job ten-fold after his trial. But, can we really afford to focus on the blessings, and forget about the part where Job is suffering in misery? Is the misery part of this story a bad thing? <itunes:summary>From time to time we all face tragedies. These events can cause us to question the character of God. One of the main arguments against the Faith is called the Beneficent God argument. Although the modern version of this argument is a pale shadow of it’s original, the way it’s interpreted now does bring out some deep seated emotions. Many actually use this premise to harbor hatred against God. In this discussion we talk about the various aspects of the ages old question; “how can a good and loving God allow bad things to happen?”
