If Adam had not sinned the world would not have lost its pristine paradise and there would never have been pain suffering or misery. If there had not been Satan’s temptation in the garden there would not have been sin in the world. If the Children of Israel had obeyed the word of God they would not have ruled the world in the Spirit of God and there would have been a perfect government and etc,. etc., etc. It is useless to play the “what if” game.
Man did sin there is pain and misery in the world. God knew this in his omniscience and prepared for the reconciliation of His creation before it was created. From before the earth was created God made “a way to escape” that mankind “might be able to bear it” and come to salvation in the final analysis. Herein is the love of God perfectly shown if we will receive it!
So why didn’t God just spare us all and magically “make it all right?” The answer to that is simple; a robot will not disobey a command, but never does it learn how to love. So perhaps God could have made mankind as automatons; but, where is the wisdom in that? How could a God who is love express and receive love from creatures incapable of independent decision? Where there is no freedom of action there is only predetermination of programming. How boring would that be? God could certainly have made mankind after that fashion; but, that would be no challenge for those He created; they would remain as babies. They would never learn how to love as God loves.
There are those who would like to make mankind over in their own image. So for those of you that think you could have done it better; why haven’t you done it? Why hasn’t mankind ever been successful in making a society that would be orderly and just without the assistance of god(s) or God? Furthermore, all his attempts to improve on God and God’s law have miserably failed.
Think for a moment and suppose every man and woman was a god; wouldn’t there still be strife, wars, oppression, pain, suffering and misery? The gods would fight each other to see who is the head god. The mythology of the gods of ancient Greece is rife with these battles between gods. In fact that is what is happening in the world as we speak. All those who would be gods are battling over who should reign supreme.
God is love, pure, and just. He loves unconditionally and without respect to persons. He created a plan that would develop “creatures made in his own image” who would unconditionally return the love, purity and justice. God is worthy to receive perfect love and can accept none other. It is for this reason that God made a way for mankind to achieve this paradise and live eternally in it with Him. Despite the machinations of men, He is working out that plan perfectly in the world today.
God is able because He wills; you can “if” you will trust and obey Him. You can have paradise if you will. You can not have paradise on your own terms. It will only be achieved if you will surrender to God in submission, submit to Him in subjection and become one with Him in His way.
One will say but I don’t want a boss to rule over me! Isn’t someone always your boss? The person who will bow to no one else is an antisocial sociopathic maniac isn’t he? He will destroy what he can not rule over. That is the way things are!
One only “gets” from another if he is willing to give in kind. The Golden rule is dominant in an orderly society. “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.“ Only a system that functions in that manner can possibly achieve an orderly society. Those who willing love others deserve to receive love willingly from them. Otherwise, one must attempt to rule by force. That is God’s law. God never forces anyone to do anything. God created a world with laws which must be obeyed in order to live in peace, security and in harmony. It works every time it has been put in place… for a season… until now.
God has only one enemy; Satan. But, every one that chooses to serve that enemy, wittingly or unwittingly, becomes an enemy of God. There is a difference between Satan and disobedient mankind. Mankind may choose to confess the evil and turn from it. When that takes place God is glorified and mankind is reconciled with Him. Satan can never return to the high place God created him to fill. Judgement has been passed on him and he awaits his final destination. For that reason God hates the sin that infests mankind with an all consuming anger and those who would propagate that infestation suffer His wrath because of their folly.
The sinner is caught in a vise between God and Satan, a vice of their own design. God’s wrath will condemn their sin, and them along with it. Satan uses a man or woman until he no longer needs them then he destroys them “lest them become a thorn in his flesh.” It is only through submission to God that one can escape this terrible torture.
One world government will be a reality in the final days of the world. The political systems once thought to be hysteria have been uncovered. It will be short lived, but it will be destructive.
The world is given many “types and shadows” of God’s sovereignty throughout history that they may see Him as He truly is, so that we may willingly offer Him the worship (adoration) he is due. There are two universal types of Satan’s kingdom Egypt and Babylon. Egypt is a symbol of the corrupt satanic world system and Babylon is a symbol of Satan’s corrupt totalitarian kingdom.
In the last days Babylon will be rebuilt and the world will pour wealth, honor and there will be a type of prosperity.1 Babylon will be the capitol of a satanic world system. It will end in a day.2 The Antichrist will rule from Jerusalem after the Temple is rebuilt. He will enter it and demand the worship due only to God.3
The faithful followers of God and His Christ will recognize those corrupt systems of which the former are revealed the types shown in scripture. Israel under the kings was a type of God’s rule. The United States was a type of Christ’s rule. It foreshadowed the perfection that will be the millennium reign of Jesus’ before the final enemy of God – death – is destroyed.
The last bastion of “peace and harmony,” the United States of America, will be delivered by a traitor, a type of “Judas Iscariot,” to the forces of the enemy of God. When America falls the movement toward the Antichrist’s reign and the rebuilding of Babylon will follow shortly. When it falls a seemingly righteous leader will come along, full of apparent truth and honor. He will “save” the world from a series of disasters and rise on false claims of superiority.
Socialism will fail because it seeks to enslave the masses and oppresses all men. Men will always seek to be superior. They will see Nietzsche’s superman in this new leader and they will reconcile themselves to him. Islam will fail, because people will not be bound by fear and degradation. When it does they will see that their Twelfth Imam in this new leader, and will reconcile themselves to him. The Roman Church, the Whore of Babylon, will sell herself to him in an attempt to reclaim her former glory. The Protestant Church will welcome him as a “good and moral” leader.
The antichrist will lead with the appearance of light. He will be all things to all people. His lies will be truths couched in different meanings and unless one has the discernment of the Spirit, they will fall for him.
The first half of the seven years of world government will be a pseudo-peace. A time of prosperity (so-called) will reign. This will be the time when everything begins to fail, and the antichrist will take on more an more of the power men give him. The announcement by the “son of perdition” that he is the almighty god and must be worshipped will turn the world into turmoil ending in a horrible war. That will usher in the thousand years of peace under the true Christ (His second coming).
After the government of men has been destroyed there will be a final one thousand years of peace under the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, that will end in the final destruction of the last enemy of mankind; death. There will come down out of heaven a New Jerusalem. Roughly translated, Jerusalem is “God’s Peace.” There will be peace throughout the universe.
Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for you shall no more be called tender and delicate. Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover your locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers. Your nakedness shall be uncovered, yes, your shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet you as a man. As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel. Sit silent, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for you shall no more be called, The lady of kingdoms. I was wroth [angry] with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into your hand: you did show them no mercy; upon the ancient have you very heavily laid your yoke.
And you said, I shall be a lady for ever: so that you did not lay these things to your heart, neither did [you] remember the latter end of it. Therefore hear now this, you that are given to pleasures, that dwell carelessly, that says in your heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children: But these two things shall come to you in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon you in their perfection for the multitude of your sorceries, and for the great abundance of your enchantments. For you have trusted in your wickedness: you have said, None sees me. Your wisdom and knowledge, has perverted you; and you have said in your heart, I am, and none else beside me.
Therefore shall evil come upon you; you shall not know from where it rises: and mischief shall fall upon you; you shall not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon you suddenly, which you shall not know. Stand now with your enchantments, and with the multitude of your sorceries, wherein you have labored from your youth; if so be you shall be able to prosper, if so be you may prevail. You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save you from these things that shall come upon you.
Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it. Thus shall they be unto you with whom you have labored, even your merchants, from your youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save you” (Isaiah 47).
“I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see” (Revelations 3:18).
- It has been said that Saddam Hussein was actually preparing for this during his reign before it ended in the recent war in Iraq. Additionally, it is documented that Mahmud Achmadenijad is a “Twelver,” a specific sect of Islam that actively tries to prepare the way for the twelfth Imam.
- “How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judges her” (Revelations 18: 7, 8).
