End Times Things
If Adam had not sinned the world would not have lost its pristine paradise and there would never have been pain suffering or misery. If there had not been Satan’s temptation in the garden there would not have been sin in the world. If the Children of Israel had obeyed the word of God they would not have ruled the world in the Spirit of God and there would have been a perfect government and etc,. etc., etc. It is useless to play the “what if” game.

Jealousy
If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. – Deuteronomy 13:1-3a
Deceive the Very Elect
I’m a big supporter of Glenn Beck’s work. Although I am critical of some of his political ideologies, his work on history is superior. His efforts to reclaim the history of this country have caused quite a stir, and rightfully so. His opponents cringe every time he opens his mouth. His supporters cheer his unwavering dedication to telling the truth, in so much as it is properly interpreted. And that’s where the rest of the story begins.
Why Ask Why?
When examining the hard questions in the Bible, it’s important to understand why, as well as how. Why is a question of motive. What would motivate Paul to tell the Corinthians that he doesn’t allow women to speak in the assembly? Why would he say such a thing? When we ask these questions, where, and how we search for answers means everything…
The Author of Confusion
For God is not God of confusion, but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.- I Corinthians 14:33
Vanity, Vanity All is Vanity!
There has been no one who has surpassed Solomon in wisdom, wealth and honor among men. But, both the height of power and depth of degradation of mankind are seen in him. His prayer at the dedication of the Temple in Jerusalem is unsurpassed in giving thanks, praise, honor and glory to the One God of creation. Yet the worst of the corruption of worship among men is seen in his later life.
Prosperity Doctrine
It’s called a doctrine, but is it really part of Christianity? In the book of Job we learn that God gives Job ten-fold after his trial. But, can we really afford to focus on the blessings, and forget about the part where Job is suffering in misery? Is the misery part of this story a bad thing? In this conversation we talk about the meanings behind prosperity doctrine and ask the question, does prosperity come in the form of money, or is there something else that can be called prosperity.
The Way of All Flesh
From time to time Christians need to be reminded of the nature and workings of God.
God is complete within Himself. He is self-sufficient; able to exist without anything or any other entity and be perfectly content. Within the godhead there is an intrinsic diversity, with unity of will, purpose, and intent. God owes men nothing; however, man owes God everything. God is Creator, Provider, Redeemer, Savior and Preserver. “In Him we live, move and have our being.1” He is our perfect life support system. Should he choose to remove His Spirit from us everything on earth would immediately cease to exist.
Manifest Destiny Part III: Subtext
The original idea behind Manifest Destiny was the idea that the expansion of the european values driven society of the United States would inevitably overcome not only the North American continent, but the world. It was the perception of those who adhered to this thought process that the world would have no choice but to recognize the viability of the American system because of it’s amazing successes in governing the people, while maintaining the freedoms of the individual. It was a hopeful desire that lost sight of the basic principle of the human condition; mankind is evil.
